Chris Burton and Newsprint have won the Adelaide CCI 4*. Chris finished on his Dressage score to win the class in a nail-biting finish. Megan Jones and Kirby Park Allofasudden were second by just 1.1 penalties.
"It feels great," said Chris "I am just really relieved right now. The horse was fantastic and the whole event was amazing."
Newsprint a 13-year-old thoroughbred is owned by Chris Burton and Lou Verway and has had a very successful season also winning the NSW Eventing Championships last month.
"He is an exciting horse," said Chris "I knew he had the ability to win at this level so it is great that we were able to make it happen."
